White Buffalo - The albino buffalo,  held in great awe and reverence by the Plains Indians.  It provided medicine men with material for many of their mythical stories.  The white buffalo was supposed to be able to transform itself into a white hawk, a gray fox, or more commonly, a beautiful woman.  Its hide was used in a sacrifice to the gods.
